Hospice Providers of the Desert

Our agency was founded on the foundation of maintaining patients' dignity and empowering them in their hardest times.

Hospice care is an approach to caring for terminally ill individuals that focuses on relief of uncomfortable symptoms and pain relief. We don’t know if there is life after death, but we know there is life before death. And this is where we come in. We provide patients with a seamless experience on their final journey. Help us be there at the very end.

What We Offer

Hospice Care

Hospice is a philosophy of end-of-life care rather than a physical place. Patients with a life-limiting illness, who are no longer pursuing treatment and want to spend their final days at peace and in comfort, are candidates for hospice care. Our goal is to give patients and their caregivers as much support as possible so they can live their lives how they want, where they want – in a patient’s or family member’s home, in a nursing home, or even in a hospital.

Bereavement Support Services

The death of a loved one impacts your life in many ways. Hospice Providers of the Desert is here to support you through our bereavement program which is part of the Hospice care team.

Palliative Care Services

Our representatives are ready to make sure your loved one knows someone is always there. We are available 24/7. Give us a call to schedule a free care consultation.

Volunteer Services

HPD volunteers are special people — of all ages, ethnic and religious backgrounds — who devote their time, talents, and energy to our patients. For example, our volunteers sit with patients, deliver and read mail to them, distribute ice water, write letters for patients, or provide companionship. They are also an integral part of patient/family events, such as birthday parties, special events, and holiday celebrations.

We know that it can be overwhelming to welcome a stranger into the home. Because of that, we train our professionals not just on high-quality care but on interpersonal relationships as well for your loved one. We always have a physician on duty to provide medical services. Our hospice care is dedicated to providing you with dignified care that promotes care.
